LIDAR & Photogrammetric Point Cloud Processing Software

3D High Performance Point Cloud Processing

Airborne LIDAR or drone collected imagery, 3D point clouds have become a critical element in mapping. LP360, an advanced desktop software, makes easy work of extracting information and deriving products from point clouds in standalone or ArcGIS environment.

Point Cloud Exploitation Tools

Point Cloud Visualization

Comprehensive visualization is a core element of analyzing point clouds. LP360 gives the ability to not only see your world in 3D but to answer questions previously requiring field acquisition techniques.

Seamlessly Manage Thousands of Files

Due to the size of these extremely powerful data many GIS professionals are unable to gain the maximum advantage from them. LP360’s advanced display techniques have solved this barrier. Overcoming this obstacle is just one of the ways LP360 brings the benefits of LIDAR to the GIS desktop.

Extensive Quality Control Tools

There is nothing worse than discovering issues with your data months after you have taken possession. Even if using public data, it is a good idea to run quality checks to better understand the data characteristics—especially as some workflows require specific data characteristics and quality levels.

Import/Export Wizard for Multiple Formats

LP360’s Export Wizard gives you the ability to generate the products you need on an ad hoc basis to give you a solution tailored to your exact needs.

Interactive and Automatic Classification Tools

Regardless if you are a LIDAR production organization needing to manually edit classifications created from automatic routines or a GIS organization that needs to implement a few corrections, LP360’s interactive classification tools are fast and easy to learn.

Breakline Digitization Tools for Constraint Conditions

One of the more powerful capabilities within LP360 is breakline capture and enforcement. Use LP360’s extensive breakline tools to apply water body flattening to an area and to define riverbanks, distinct edges, and changes in terrain. Breaklines can also be used to introduce artificial elevation constraints to a dataset.

This is the basic level, suitable for visualization, Quality Check and some derived product generation.

This license level adds interactive classification, 3D editing and analysis capabilities.

This license level adds advanced point cloud “tasks” and automatic classification routines.

LP360 License Types

LP360 has both machine (node-locked) and concurrent (floating) licensing options available.

The LP360 authorization process uses files digitally locked to specific machines. Our floating licenses run as a Windows service and can therefore be set up on any machine running a Windows OS on the LAN/WAN. Remote desktop installations require a floating license type.

How LP360 Co-Licensing Works

LP360 and LP360 Standalone are co-licensed products and as such, both applications (LP360 in ArcGIS and LP360 Standalone) are authorized under the same license type. This means that if you have only one license, then only one instance of LP360 will run at a time. You can run LP360 for ArcGIS or LP360 Standalone, but not both at the same time.
